Using your Empower HUD is easy:
CAST A SPELL
- Click the spell you wish to cast, then select the target you wish to cast it on (can be yourself) or:
- Select <ByRange> to cast the spell on all avatars within a specified range
- Select <CamCast> to cast the spell on the object you have your camera focused on (beware transparent prims in the way)
- Select <CamPos> to cast just in front of your camera position (the HUD will rez an invisible object and cast on that)
- Tick “CamCast” on the left page to set <CamCast> as the default target (may be overriden by text commands – see below)
- There are tabs in the HUD to switch between types of spells (Visual/Assist etc)
- Spells which are unavailable (because you have not purchased them) will be greyed out (not relevant in the Deluxe HUD, which has all spells)
- Spells can also be cast using text commands – see the Reference Guide for details
